This is not particularly my favorite thing in the world, but I suppose there's some value in honest communication.

What I want is for mutants to be safe. Free from oppression.

... what're your definitions of safe and oppression?

When no mutant is targeted by heavily armed death squads for having been born.

When the Mutant Registration Act is never discussed seriously again.

When no mutant has to hide or be afraid of who they are.

But none of that is the case, unfortunately.

What are your thoughts on the X-Men? Would you ever work with us?

I think the X-Men tend to concern themselves too much with defending a deeply oppressive status quo. But I've absolutely no ill-will towards any one of them personally.

I suspect we'll have to work together. There are things happening that, I think, are greater than either of our individual abilities to handle.

What would you say the ideal status quo is, then? Not an attack, I'm genuinely curious.

I was raised to believe that the only way we're ever going to do good in the world is by teamwork. If the time ever comes that we have to join forces, I look forward to doing so in an amicable manner.
