Favorite baked good?

I'm fond of shortbreads. But any sweet baked good is good. There weren't that many in the futures I've been to.

How do you feel about the establishment of a planned mutant-friendly urban community?

I think it's a good idea. It gives a safe place for graduates of this school to go to if they aren't into being an X-Men. It will also be a good place to house people who didn't come here but need a place to go.

It's also an opportunity to showcase mutants being ordinary citizens and doing ordinary citizen things like opening businesses and working jobs and starting families.

It's a lot harder for most people to hate Luis who cooks at Bistro Provencal and goes to the park with his wife and two children than it is to hate an anonymous Mutant. Despite what news coverage would have you think.

It's an important step in the right direction, and I'm glad it's one of the things you're passionate about.

If you weren't running the school - if you could do or be whoever or whatever you wanted to be - what would you have done?

I'm not sure. I've not had a lot of time for me in all the years I've lived and traveled through. There's always been some greater cause.

Might be nice to dance among the stars.

Or road tripping with Kitty.

I kind of feel like if you went roadtripping with Kitty, you'd end up finding some sort of superheroic adventure. Have you noticed how that kind of ends up being a thing?

Like, the last family vacation Mom and Dad took me on, we came across a faction of the Right.

That's usually our lot in life. Keeps things interesting, but it's nothing the two of us couldn't handle.

That sounds like a typical Summers vacation.

Yeah, I don't think we've had one yet where something insane hasn't happened. Honestly, it probably wouldn't relaxing because we'd be waiting for something to strike, you know?

I don't have the numbers right offhand, but more than we had this year. We'll be expanded into the open spaces in the dorms we had.
